Two weekends ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Cassidy, George, and their dog Blue at Highland Park for an engagement session. Cassidy and George were so fun and easy to work with. And Blue was amazing, too. (I didn't mean for that to rhyme).
We met later in the day on a Sunday, when the sun was setting. So I had amazing light. And amazing subjects. What else could a photographer ask for? I hope George and Cassidy love their pics as much as I do! Enjoy!

Two weekends ago, I met one of my dearest friends, Michele, and her family at the park behind the Rochester zoo for a family shoot. (In case you haven't noticed, this is one of my go-to shoot locations). Anyway, I digress.
I was able to get a few adorable family shots, but was mainly tasked with capturing lots of pictures of the boys. How. stinkin'. cute. are. they? Fortunately, there's a small playground in this park which always helps to get some smiles out of the kiddos. I actually went to Michele's house a few nights later to get a few more shots, and I love how they turned out. Tyler was in a great mood, and Aaron was just as cute as he was a few days prior. Love all of these people below; hope they love the pictures! A little more than 2 weeks ago, I was able to witness the birth of my third nephew. Words can't describe how amazing of an experience it was. I already feel so connected to Colton and Adrian (my first two nephews), and now I have such an amazing connection with Shawn, too.
Thank you to my brother and sister-in-law for allowing me to be there with you as welcome your third baby boy into this world. He is perfect, and I already love him to pieces. A few weekends ago, I met this great family at the Memory Garden in Henrietta, NY. I have never been there before so I was so glad that the family suggested it. I also got super lucky because it was cloudy that morning. I heart clouds on picture days :)
As you can see, there were lots and lots of family members that came for the shoot, which included a few generations. This family was so nice, patient, and fun! So technically these weren't supposed to be her 1-year pictures, but considering the timing, I'm considering them as such.
It's just that.... I freaking LOVE taking pictures of this sweet girl. Look at these pictures - need I say more? A few months ago, Adam and I flew into Wilmington, NC and then went to Adam's mom's house in Southport, NC. We had a great long weekend there with his mom and her husband, and Adam's brother, sister-in-law, and nephew.
Since this picture, they've had their newest addition, a beautiful baby girl. I can't wait to get more pictures of her next time I visit Charlotte! I love Southport. It's a cute, fun, quaint beach town. Did I just say "quaint?" Oy. Anyway, I can't wait to go back. And if you've never been there, you should go. A few weeks ago, my sister-in-law and I went to Warren, PA to take senior pictures of her nephew, Jeffrey. I swear, this kid could be in Abercrombie ads. He did such a great job; he didn't even crack when I tried relentlessly to make him laugh.
Jeffrey's house is at the top of a hill in Warren, nestled in the woods. So we had lots of great spots to get pictures in his backyard (literally), and then we went into Warren to get some more in front of some architecture. Lastly, we hiked a little under a mile in the woods (yes, even my 7 1/2 month pregnant assistant), to a bridge that he had helped build. We got some great shots in the woods, and on the bridge, and then hiked back to the cars. All in all, a great session, and I LOVE how the pictures turned out. :) |
