Holy cow do I love taking pictures of this family. I used to work with Andy (aka "Dad"), and this is the second time that I've taken pictures of them. Their girls are two of most well-behaved, best-listening children I have ever met. So....taking their pictures is always a pleasure.
We did not have the best luck with weather this day. Go figure. Western NY. But they were troopers and I'm still happy with how they turned out. Thank you LaManna family!

I had such a fun time with this family. We met at a park across the street from Lake Ontario on a beautiful, fall day. (As you can see below :)). This was my first session with them, and they were so great. Mom and Dad were super cool, and the boys were adorable, and so so funny. In fact, here was my favorite interaction with the older of the two boys, Elliot, who is FOUR:
Me: "Elliot, can I have a hug?" (I get a hug). Elliot stares at my dirty sweater (from laying in the leaves). "You can wash your clothes, but the hug will still be there." Oh man.... I love kids. And I hope this family loves their pics! This is my second time taking this family's pictures. Mom and Dad are so nice, and they are such great parents. Their kids are soooo amazingly good. Great listeners, and super personable.
We met at Corbett's Glen in Rochester, NY which is an amazing place to visit, and for pictures. We had great weather (cloudy - my favorite :)), and it wasn't as cold as we thought. At the end of the session, we watched a man catch a GINORMOUS fish. I was really hoping he would throw it back, and he did. :) The kids thought this was very cool to watch. As did I, despite my enormous fish phobia. I can't wait to (hopefully) take pictures of this family again in the future! A few weekends ago, I stopped by my friend Sarah's house to take a few pictures of her beautiful family.
Since they're all ridiculously photogenic, my job was PRETTTTY easy that day. As you can see below. Love these four <3. And next spring, there will be a fifth Turner to love! I had the pleasure of shooting Angela and Brian's wedding in September in Olean, NY. It POURED in the morning, but luckily stopped by the time the ceremony started. It also held off while we did all of the formal pictures outdoors, at St. Bonaventure University's campus.
Let me tell you. This bridal party were amazing. So fun, so personable, and were up for anything. (It helped that I knew all of the girls from high school :)). Angela and Brian's ceremony was in a beautiful church in downtown Olean, and had a large reception in Allegany, NY. The entire day went pretty flawlessly - it was fun, and it was surrounded by love. It's very evident how much Angela and Brian love each other, and how very much they are loved. I'm so happy that they chose me to shoot their special day; I hope the pictures captured the amazement of the day for them. |
