Last weekend I met Shawna and Neil at the St. Bonaventure campus in Allegany, NY (where Neil went to college).  We met to take their engagement pictures. :)  It was a PERFECT night, and the Bona's campus is beautiful, so we got some great shots.

I've known Shawna since I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago, because she was too, around the same time.  We hadn't known each other prior, but it so helpful to be able to talk to someone who knew almost EXACTLY what I was going through, and EXACTLY the same time.  And out of it all, we became friends. Obvi. :)

Shawna and Neil have actually known each other for a long time.  They actually dated in high school, and reconnected...years and years later.  And now they're getting married.  Pretty romantic, and pretty freaking cool. :)

I can't wait to shoot their weeding next summer! They are such a fun pair, and so easy going.

I was not surprised that this was one of the most fun shoots I've ever had.  Dave and Kelli are so fun, easy-going, and make such an amazing couple.

We met at Colgate Divinity school, and then drove over to Highland Park.  It was later in the evening, so the scenery and lighting was perfect.  Have I mentioned that I love shooting in the evenings?
