Holy, cow. These girls are so stinkin' cute. They were both so cooperative as we trudged around a few places in Allegany State Park. We took a break so their dad could lift them up to pick an apple from an apple tree, and then another break while Molly proceeded to kick said apple around the parking lot.
I laughed so much during the shoot - while photographing these two sweet girls. What more could I ask for? :)

This is my fourth shoot with this family. I love repeat clients. :) I've had the chance to see their kiddos get bigger, and more and more cute.
A few weekends ago, we met at one of the parks across from Lake Ontario, near Durand Eastman golf course. Complete with playground, pretty trees, and lots of shade :) The kids got to play, while I chased them around snapping pics (which I love). We did encounter a few bugs, which Hailey was NOT a fan of, but she was a trooper. Hopefully I'll be able to work with this family again in the future! A few weeks ago, I met Andy, Rachel, and their newest addition Dexter at Ellison Park. They wanted some family pictures, and I was so glad they asked me :)
I love these two - I used to work with Andy, and Rachel is a sweetheart. And .... getting to meet/take pictures of a puppy? Sign. Me. Up. Hope you like your pics, friends! And we need to get our pups together STAT. This is my second time taking this family's pictures. Mom and Dad are so nice, and they are such great parents. Their kids are soooo amazingly good. Great listeners, and super personable.
We met at Corbett's Glen in Rochester, NY which is an amazing place to visit, and for pictures. We had great weather (cloudy - my favorite :)), and it wasn't as cold as we thought. At the end of the session, we watched a man catch a GINORMOUS fish. I was really hoping he would throw it back, and he did. :) The kids thought this was very cool to watch. As did I, despite my enormous fish phobia. I can't wait to (hopefully) take pictures of this family again in the future! A few weekends ago, I stopped by my friend Sarah's house to take a few pictures of her beautiful family.
Since they're all ridiculously photogenic, my job was PRETTTTY easy that day. As you can see below. Love these four <3. And next spring, there will be a fifth Turner to love! Two weekends ago, I met one of my dearest friends, Michele, and her family at the park behind the Rochester zoo for a family shoot. (In case you haven't noticed, this is one of my go-to shoot locations). Anyway, I digress.
I was able to get a few adorable family shots, but was mainly tasked with capturing lots of pictures of the boys. How. stinkin'. cute. are. they? Fortunately, there's a small playground in this park which always helps to get some smiles out of the kiddos. I actually went to Michele's house a few nights later to get a few more shots, and I love how they turned out. Tyler was in a great mood, and Aaron was just as cute as he was a few days prior. Love all of these people below; hope they love the pictures! A few weekends ago, I met this great family at the Memory Garden in Henrietta, NY. I have never been there before so I was so glad that the family suggested it. I also got super lucky because it was cloudy that morning. I heart clouds on picture days :)
As you can see, there were lots and lots of family members that came for the shoot, which included a few generations. This family was so nice, patient, and fun! A few months ago, Adam and I flew into Wilmington, NC and then went to Adam's mom's house in Southport, NC. We had a great long weekend there with his mom and her husband, and Adam's brother, sister-in-law, and nephew.
Since this picture, they've had their newest addition, a beautiful baby girl. I can't wait to get more pictures of her next time I visit Charlotte! I love Southport. It's a cute, fun, quaint beach town. Did I just say "quaint?" Oy. Anyway, I can't wait to go back. And if you've never been there, you should go. This family is definitely one of my favorites to photograph. I've taken pictures for them several times, and each time is more and more fun.
For this shoot, we focused on getting shots of Charlotte for her 1st birthday, and some shots of Will for his upcoming 3rd birthday. We also snuck some family shots in here, since they are all so cute. And how about those outfits? Love. We met at the park behind the Rochester zoo, which is one of my favorite locations. There's a pond, a playground, plenty of shaded areas within the trees, and beautiful trails. I can't wait for my next session with them! Two weekends ago, I met up with this wonderful family in a park behind the Rochester Zoo for a family session. The weather was perfect, scenery was great, and this family could not have been more fun.
The two kiddos were so sweet, and warmed up to me really fast. The handsome little guy you see below even suggested a few places he wanted me to take pictures of the four of them. Sure, near the end of the session we found a snake in the grass by our cars. But what's a good photo shoot without a little adventure? :) |
