How beautiful is this girl? This is Megan - the daughter of one of my dear friends, Joanna. I actually used to babysit Megan and her younger sister. Now she's going to be a senior. I'm old.
Anyway, I digress. I was so excited when Joanna asked me to take Meg's senior pictures. She's such a sweet, fun girl, so I knew the photoshoot would be a blast. And I was right. Joanna even came along and helped, which made it MORE fun! She carried my huge reflector around for me that's super hard to break down, and made us laugh when she said "is that a reflector in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me." I am still laughing about that line, and this shoot happened 10 days ago. We took these pictures at the barn first, to get pictures of Meg with one of her favorite horses. We then went to Colgate Divinity School in the city, and ended up at Highland Park. Two of my favorite places to take pictures. You look amazing in these pictures, Meg, and I hope they remind you of how much fun we had this day. Congrats on your senior year, chica. Enjoy every second. XOXO

I met Jordan at Highland Park and the Colgate Divinity School near the city a few weeks ago, on a Monday night. We had amazing weather (as we have most of this summer), and I love how his pictures turned out.
I even got him to crack a smile a few times, mostly when I was quoting Zoolander. He finally chuckled when I asked him to give me "Blue Steel." If you have never seen that movie, you are probably very confused right now. So I apologize for that. But even moreso, I apologize that you've never seen that movie. :) I digress. I hope Jordan loves his pictures as much as I do! I was not surprised that this was one of the most fun shoots I've ever had. Dave and Kelli are so fun, easy-going, and make such an amazing couple.
We met at Colgate Divinity school, and then drove over to Highland Park. It was later in the evening, so the scenery and lighting was perfect. Have I mentioned that I love shooting in the evenings? Thank you to Dave & Kelli for letting me take their engagement photos - I hope they love them as much as I do!! |
