I was fortunate to meet Julie after I had breast cancer surgery. She was my physical therapist and did an amazing job helping me to get back to normal. A little over a year later, she asked me to photograph her wedding (obvi I said "yes"). :) Scott and Julie were married in September at the Shadow Lake golf course in Penfield, NY. Sure, it absolutely poured that day, but that didn't stop this amazing couple from having the most memorable day. We had to move the ceremony from outside by the pond to an indoor room, but the reception was still held underneath a beautiful outdoor tent, adorned with gorgeous white lights (my favorite). Their friends and family were a blast; you can tell how much Scott and Julie are truly loved. Thank you to both of them to allowing me to capture their special day.

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Chelsea and Alan at the arboretum in Ellicottville, NY. Not only was the weather amazing - but this couple was equally amazing. They were both so laid back, and their wedding was just - fun. I could tell from the vows how much they love each other. (Scroll down and check out their pics from the ceremony, and you'll see what I mean). The day went without a hitch - and everyone seemed to have a great time. Their bridal party was a blast - you can tell people are great people when they have so many great friends. And these two have a lot of great friends. Best wishes to Chelsea and Alan for a beautiful life together. I have no doubt it will be anything less. Hugs.                                                     Two weekends ago, I met one of my dearest friends, Michele, and her family at the park behind the Rochester zoo for a family shoot. (In case you haven't noticed, this is one of my go-to shoot locations). Anyway, I digress. I was able to get a few adorable family shots, but was mainly tasked with capturing lots of pictures of the boys. How. stinkin'. cute. are. they? Fortunately, there's a small playground in this park which always helps to get some smiles out of the kiddos. I actually went to Michele's house a few nights later to get a few more shots, and I love how they turned out. Tyler was in a great mood, and Aaron was just as cute as he was a few days prior. Love all of these people below; hope they love the pictures!                   I work with William, and I was so excited when he asked me to photograph his wedding. He and Diego have been together for years and years, and their wedding was such a celebration. It took place at the golf course in Rush, NY, and the day could not have been more beautiful. The ceremony was so sweet, the food was amazing, and the reception was a blast. The golf course gave us a few golf carts to drive to a few great spots on the course. Due to a lot of rain in previous days, we even trekked through mini rivers on a few cart paths. But William and Diego followed without hesitation. I had such a great time this day, and I hope they cherish their pictures for a long time.                        I was not surprised that this was one of the most fun shoots I've ever had. Dave and Kelli are so fun, easy-going, and make such an amazing couple. We met at Colgate Divinity school, and then drove over to Highland Park. It was later in the evening, so the scenery and lighting was perfect. Have I mentioned that I love shooting in the evenings? Thank you to Dave & Kelli for letting me take their engagement photos - I hope they love them as much as I do!!            |
