Wow. Sammy is such a gorgeous girl. You'll see as you scroll :).
One of my best friends used to work with Sammy's mom; that's how we connected. I've never met Sammy, but you would never have guessed that after we started. It was such an easy-going, fun shoot. We met at a friend's house in Pittsford, where there were woods, open fields, and an amazing, old Chevy truck that they let us use. Lastly, we drove to a huge sunflower field nearby. Sammy's eyes lit up as the truck pulled up, and she couldn't stop staring at it. And I can't say I blame her, after seeing how the pictures of her turned out with that Chevy. Although I'm pretty sure Sammy could make any object look amazing. This was another great senior shoot - one of my favorite shoots to do! Thank you to Sammy and her mom for letting me share this experience with you. I hope you both love these pictures as much as I do. Best of luck to you in your senior year and beyond graduation, Sammy! I have no doubt you'll do adventurous and amazing things! :)

How beautiful is this girl? This is Megan - the daughter of one of my dear friends, Joanna. I actually used to babysit Megan and her younger sister. Now she's going to be a senior. I'm old.
Anyway, I digress. I was so excited when Joanna asked me to take Meg's senior pictures. She's such a sweet, fun girl, so I knew the photoshoot would be a blast. And I was right. Joanna even came along and helped, which made it MORE fun! She carried my huge reflector around for me that's super hard to break down, and made us laugh when she said "is that a reflector in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me." I am still laughing about that line, and this shoot happened 10 days ago. We took these pictures at the barn first, to get pictures of Meg with one of her favorite horses. We then went to Colgate Divinity School in the city, and ended up at Highland Park. Two of my favorite places to take pictures. You look amazing in these pictures, Meg, and I hope they remind you of how much fun we had this day. Congrats on your senior year, chica. Enjoy every second. XOXO A few weeks ago, my sister-in-law and I went to Warren, PA to take senior pictures of her nephew, Jeffrey. I swear, this kid could be in Abercrombie ads. He did such a great job; he didn't even crack when I tried relentlessly to make him laugh.
Jeffrey's house is at the top of a hill in Warren, nestled in the woods. So we had lots of great spots to get pictures in his backyard (literally), and then we went into Warren to get some more in front of some architecture. Lastly, we hiked a little under a mile in the woods (yes, even my 7 1/2 month pregnant assistant), to a bridge that he had helped build. We got some great shots in the woods, and on the bridge, and then hiked back to the cars. All in all, a great session, and I LOVE how the pictures turned out. :) |
